I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy. If you love fantasy than I guarantee that you will like this book. It's a great story about a land in peril, love, searching for the pieces of the puzzle which will ensure its solving and, of course, adventure. A very interesting world to escape to as well. McIntosh's other novels, in both fantasy and other genres, are also very enjoyable and seem to get better and better. Would definitely recommend her books.
Couldn't put this book down. Story had many twists and turns. An excellent and riveting read.

I bought this in paper back version a few years ago, and have added it to my digital library and reading it again. Still love it. There are a few series in my collection and this Trilogy is in my top 5.

It is a very fast read with out sacrificing, quality and detail.
