Again I love Abby and Jake. Of course I just have to ask, what in the H E double LL is wrong with Jake, he sure does know how to be a stubborn jerk sometimes. I felt bad for Abby at times, but was glad he eventually saw what was right lol he just needed a little push that's all. And boy does that boy know how to panic or really stress himself out. But of course we still love him.“When you fell into my life, I was shattered beyond repair. But as the shining angel of redemption, you didn’t seem to care. While the tempest swirled around me, you led me to solid ground. You’re the purest, deepest love a man like me has ever found. There is a fire that burns within me that only you can ignite. You’re the light that fills my soul in the darkest, bleakest night. You’re the balm that cures the wound; the lifeline in the storm. You are the song of my heart, the music of my soul.”
Now let's talk Abby, as always, she is the sweetest and most loving caring girl ever and the best thing that ever happened to Jake. I'm so glad they have each other for the good times AND also all the bad. Also another thing I could never forget is the rest of all the characters. Just like always they're the best and this series wouldn't be the same without them, and to me what really makes it the best is the kids, they're all just the sweetest. It just makes you want to smooch them and pinch their cheeks like you do with all little ones.
When I felt a tug on the pants leg of my jeans, I glanced down to see Bella staring up at me. She had abandoned her place on the couch with AJ where they had been watching movies. “Hey sweetheart,” I said. I bent over to pick her up and ease her down on my lap. Her jet-black eyes surmised me before she cocked her head at me. “Why u sad?” she asked. Great, I didn’t even begin to imagine how I was going to explain this one. “Do you think I’m sad?” Her dark ponytail bobbed up and down as she nodded. Leaning over, her tiny hands came to my cheeks. Her fingers gripped my flesh before she pushed my face up. “Smile, Unca Jake.” I laughed through my smushed cheeks. “Okay, okay. I’ll smile instead.” A pleased little grin spread on her face. Grabbing a piece of paper off the table, she waved it at me. “I dwawed u a picture.” “You did?” “Uh, huh.”
So to me as Jake says, even though they're not all blood their one big family. The closeness they have for each other is the best, I really love it and it pulls at my heart. No matter what anyone is going through their always there for each other. I'm glad I started this series and think it's a really sweet and lovable series to read. It's just so perfect, so if your not sure about it, let me just say, what are you waiting for?

Music of the Soul Runaway Train eBook Katie Ashley Reviews
This was beautiful. I was so happy with this story. I was so happy when there was going to be more Jake and nervous how it would be done. These two deserve nothing but the best. They have a beautiful wedding and then the topic of babies comes up. Abby is ready to start a family and Jake isn't. So how will they make their relationship work? can Jake give up his insecurities in time to me the man Abby needs?
These two go through soo much this book .Highs and lows, twists and turns. You will simply have to read it to see how it all ends. It was short and sweet. God Bless the Broken Road is one of my favorite songs. When that started playing I broke into tears, this book was truly emotional, I found myself crying many times throughout this book. And when Abby seen Susans face, I broke down. That moment was probably my most favorite part of this book. Thank you Katie, for doing this book justice and Jake and Abby. I loved it so much. And now, I cannot wait for Rhys story!!
Some quotes I loved
"I love you as high as the sky,"
"No one but you- now and forever."
"Oh God, we're become the dudes we used to make fun of, haven't we?"
"Men spend their lives being obsessed with boobs, and then the moment a baby is attatched to it, they lose their minds."
"In the end, you make your special moments, and they usually happen when you go off the script."
"I was wrong. And when I decided to just screw the script, that's when I found the truest of loves and the greatest happiness."
"Besides, more of you us just more to love,"
"His ball and chain for now until the day he dies."
"Is that code for you want me to come downstairs so you can have your way with me?"
"Actually, I think it was more that I was a caveman who didn't want some oiled dude in a banana hammock dry humping you."
"We make our own luck. But more than anything, we make our own memories,"
"She's good. If we ever need an alibi, she's our girl."
"Are you insinuating that I'm not manly enough to carry you across this beach?"
Don't you know by now that we Runaway Train women are always right?"
"No one will revoke your man card, I promise."
The way the story progressed was truly intense because I understood the struggle that Abby and Jake had in becoming parents with the hardships of being on the road all the time and the miscommunication that sometimes happens but other than that things turn out truly amazing for the loving couple and their kids. I gave this book a review of 5 stars ✨ because it was amazing to see the progression and how the couple evolved from husband and wife to mother and father and it was amazing how having children changes your life in a matter of seconds. I would recommend this book to anyone that would like to read it because it's worth appreciating it.
As Jake and Abby head towards their wedding everything seems perfect. The day of the wedding just so happens to be the best day of their lives. On a private island to enjoy their honeymoon you'd expect things to be perfect. But Abby's internal clock starts ticking and Jake is having none of it. When he thinks things are going great, life takes an unexpected turn. The fear of losing Abby like he did his mom and the relief he wouldn't, he couldn't help the little lie that came from his mouth. But that lie would catch up to him and Abby and cause them to lose each other forever. Good thing their friends won't let that happen.
